At this stage of my career, I was employed by the Royal Australian Mint as a Design Manager and I was very grateful for this opportunity to be part of the project team.
The refurbishment of the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra was a challenging project that took more then 3 years to complete. Due to tight security measures in the coin factory, the renovation of this space had to be divided in 5 stages. The lengthy process was the upgrade of the Gallery, the Shop, the Office Areas and the Landscape around ‘the Mint’. The end result is an amazing and beautifully restored building that will be greatly appreciated by all visitors of the Mint – Canberra ACT.
