Mollymook Beach – South Coast NSW – 2017/ 2018
The owners of this secluded property in Mollymook requested a new lay-out with a kitchen that is part of the living space and doesn’t look like a traditional kitchen.
Kitsdesign came up with a design where the kitchen is the central point of the living spaces.
An island kitchen but with an enclosed butler pantry to store and prep meals.
The kitchen, which is visible from the lounge and dining area, is kept low (920mm) and therefore flows nicely in the space without being a obstacle.
Part of the project was to design a cinema room, new laundry with additional bathroom and replace the sliding doors to the back-deck with large stacker sliding doors to take advantage of the beautiful entertainment areas.
Kitsdesign has worked very close with the owners over a period of over 12 months. The lay-out of the proposed design, has changed a couple of times because of budget restrains and therefore decided to delete some construction work and not over capitalise the value of the property.
A new outdoor deck has been added and this space has made a significant to the outdoor living aspect.
