untitledNarrawallee: Renovation of a 2-storey property (November 2017/ 2018 and 2019)
For this particular project we have been able to re-use various furniture pieces and by replacing other pieces we created a smart and sophisticated coastal interior.

Working closely with the owners, we decided on a new fresh white paint-palette throughout the house and replace the country style furniture with a blend of contemporary and coastal pieces.

The main focus is to enhance the amazing outlook on Narrawallee beach and I believe we succeeded in that, by replacing the heavy timber plantation shutters with slim-line vertical roller blinds which let the daylight in but also provided protection against the harsh summer sun.

Wendy and Glen has some beautiful artwork and by replacing the old frames for more contemporary frames, we were able to create a stunning fresh interior.  To finish it off we introduced gorgeous handmade cushions, designer lighting, coastal  mirrors and other decorative pieces that fit in perfectly with the existing pieces.

STAGE 2 OF THE STYLING PROJECT

The next part is to transform the ground level into a space that compliments the coastal ambience of this stunning home. With a lovely outdoor pool and lush surrounding gardens, this space if perfect to entertain friends and family.

The large built-in unit displays the beautiful Bodum glass art. The reading/lounge room will have an ART WALL containing some beautiful paintings that the owners have collected over the years. A combination of traditional and contemporary furniture pieces, this room will become a haven to relax.

The reading / lounge room is slowly coming together.
