Home by the Sea

What was already a LOVELY home in a pictureque spot on the foreshore of Narrawallee beach overlooking the ocean with a fully self-contained holiday accommodation on the ground floor, it was time for a serious make-over to show its full potential.

Some well-planned design and close contact with the owners the first stage is to upgrade key areas along with clever styling and attention to detail.

The desired outcome is an interior with a consistent standard and quality, depicting a sophisticated Hamptons look and feel and a touch of relaxed coastal style and comfort.

Whilst the kitchen is in very good condition with a generous island bar we propose to  increase the footprint will maximise capacity to host small and large events, as well  as improving the functionality overall without compromising on durability or style.

The new renovated home is extremely practical yet comfortable and aesthetically attractive, thus appealing to a broader market of buyers promoting scope and potential for resale in the future.

Scope of Work:

  1. A private separate laundry on the ground floor with access to the outdoor staircase

  2. The spare bedroom (first floor) to be increased in size, located just above the new laundry which we fitted with a clever laundry shaft for convenience

  3. The 4 x bathrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs, all original, need a make-over as well as transforming the downstairs guest laundry into a new en-suite

  4. The original kitchen will be replaced because we decided to increase the footprint and introduce a large stand-alone island bench to create a entertaining hub.
